Fantastic location directly overlooking the working harbour which is very interesting to watch from the warm of the large open plan lounge kitchen.Open the large bi folding doors for a spectacular vista of the coast and Penzance.With open plan living ,exposed pitched ceilings, well appointed furnishings,two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms,this was definitely a home to explore the area. very close to all amenities,situated above an excellent restaurant witch Nigel the very likeable proprietor operates,(great food reviews on Tripadvisor) is a surefire bonus. If you like quirky ,quality and a view to die for book this accommodation,the discerning traveller will be delighted. We only had 5 days here but no matter what the weather is doing outside,we loved the harbour activities and the short walk along the sea front to the main shopping areas and all that Penzance has to offer, as you gather we will definately be back ,for a longer stay next time, Great host ,great place.
Despite mixed autumnal weather, we enjoyed Penzance. The apartment was light and roomy but cosy and well-equipped. A few improvements are being made with some of the furnishings and light fittings. The mattresses would be our priority. Despite these criticisms we would return. It is good value.

Again, really enjoyed my stay at the Sail Loft Lookout. Lovely, very tidy holiday accommodation overlooking the historic Penzance Harbour. It was a joy to eat breakfast everyday with the early morning sun, shimmering on the harbour water. This accommodation is really central and ideal for a family or quiet holiday away. Thank you
A lovely comfortable home from home. The location was excellent and Penzance is a great base for exploring the area. The property owner was welcoming and friendly. We travelled as a couple and would definitely recommend this to others.
Really enjoyed our stay in Penzance and this apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, warm and welcoming. The owner Nigel was so helpful in giving us tips for walks, days out, take aways and places to eat. Boatshed restaurant was fabulous place to eat - excellent food cooked by Nigel himself. As an alternative to caravan accommodation on Cornwall this was fantastic and excellent value for money.
Initial amazement at character and location of apartment, very impressed. Then we were given info from Nigel, our wonderful host, informing us of all the places to visit, tips and rundown of history of the lofthouse, which was appreciated and guided our decisions on where to visit. Grateful also to the milk and basic essentials provided. The majority of apartment was clean, lovely crisp bedding and towels provided. Spotless bathrooms. Only niggle was the floor was a bit grubby in places under couch when we moved it closer to window we found bits rubbish underneath, the couch near dining table was a little smelly, so we avoided sitting on that one. We had a wonderful holiday there and also was impressed with our meal downstairs in the Boatshed, of which we were offered a discount. Thankyou so much x
Excellent property to high standard , lots to do in Penzance , lovely walks good choice of place to eat .
My family and I booked sail loft for a week in august, The apartment was very well equipped ,literally everything you needed was provided. I was very impressed with the accommodation, it has been finished to a high and stylish level. very comfy beds with beautiful crispy linen. We made full use of Nigel's excellent local knowledge to find some beautiful beaches and scenery . If your looking for a base to explore west Cornwall look no further.
