Penthouse 3 is a luxury two double bedroom apartment on two levels - the big open plan lounge /kitchen diner and large outside balcony on the upper level give expansive stunning views over Mounts Bay to St Michaels Mount and over Penzance harbour. Apart from the two main bedrooms there is a double sofa bed in the lounge . Penthouse 3 can sleep 4/6 people
GROUND FLOOR
Granite steps lead you to the front stable door of Penthouse 3. On
this floor you have two double bedrooms, one en-suite with pitch
pine flooring throughout. The main bathroom has bath with shower
over, heated towel rail, basin and mirror with built in shaver
socket and lights.
FIRST FLOOR
Here we have the open plan kitchen, breakfast bar, dining and
living room. With two full size french doors leading on to you own
private balcony, you now have glorious views over the working and
leisure harbour of Penzance and beyond to St Michael's Mount and
The Lizard. The kitchen is fully functional with fridge / freezer,
dishwasher and washer / dryer. The moderately sized lounge area has
one sofa bed for the fifth/sixth quest, coffee table and TV with
DVD player.
All linen and towels are supplied and electricity and heating are included. Please bring your own beach towels.

We had a great stay at the harbour view penthouse. It is in a lovely location within easy reach of all amenities and is fully equipped for a long as well as a short stay. It was close to the Boat Shed restaurant which we visited and did have a lovely meal there. The holiday was mostly positive and would have given 5 stars but for a couple of issues. The settee in the apartment is quite dated and the cushions were also grubby. We noted a stale smell which we reported. ? if previous guests had taken a dog, but it meant we were uncomfortable sitting on one part of the settee and even after a thorough clean by ourselves it did not alleviate the smell. The settee really needs replacing. The shower upright rail in the main bathroom requires looking at- better securing the end covers and the rubber was not holding the shower head in place. Mattress in the second bedroom felt as though it was also ready for replacement. Parking is limited but it appears this way for the whole of the area surrounding. Be prepared to park on the street away from the apartment. You will be lucky if you manage to acquire the parking space outside for the duration of your stay. We have no complaints about our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the break but would feel much better for returning if we knew these issues had been addressed and resolved. Nigel was a lovely approachable Man who made us feel most welcome.

We stayed in early April, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The rooms were comfortable, and the common area was spacious. The location was very good; quiet, yet close to many pubs, restaurants, bus stops, etc. If our travels take us to Penzance again, we would certainly enjoy another stay there if they have availability.
The apartment view was amazing. It was spacious and had everything we needed for a family stay. Nigel was extremely welcoming and The Boatshed is definitely worth a visit, it definitely looks nicer inside and has a great vibe.
Really enjoyed my stay and will book again!! What a fantastic place over looking the harbour. The holiday let had everything you would need for self catering and more, real home from home feel. Nigel the owner was very helpful and always at hand if you needed anything! Very pleased with my holiday and highly recommend it!!
Penzance and Harbour view give you the real feel of Cornwall. Nigel makes sure we get the best experience of both. He has outfitted the penthouse with top class and adequate stocks of amenities needed during the holidays. The housekeeping is regular and the host is expansive with his facilities. P.S. As always, our stay was everything we needed. A month is quite a long time to stay in one place and we had everything we needed to make our stay a home from home. We were made to feel very welcome and look forward to our next visit.
Great location, wonderful apartment fully kitted out, great views over harbour from balcony. easy walking to many, many pubs restaurants, shops etc. Nigel met us at apartment and was very kind/helpful. we would book this again no problems - (but probably a week or so earlier - just because all the National trust places seems to close last week in October !)
